New mamas need bling
As my buddy Liz informed me when I got pregnant with my firstborn, in certain neighborhoods in New York , giving birth is an event worthy of jewels.
I have a birthday gift basket for him site. It pretty much covers birthday gift basket for him related cards and gifts.

£25 is fine for a special handbag.
Consider the handbags of the wardrobe. There is the grotty one you picked up for £5 from Bags-U-Like but where the strap nearly broke after the second time you tried to carry a book in it. Then there is the £10 one (sale price) from a shoe shop which is very comfy, just about right, but actually a few weeks of using it (and remember, the litmus test of a handbag is can it fit a bottle of wine in it) is looking rather shoddy. There is the £20 sparkly one from Monsoon you bought cheap because it looked pretty and you thought you were bound to use it at some other time. And then there is this one, at £25 a bargain of predicted longetivity, stylish enough to go with a dress for a wedding, no less, but also suitable enough for day to day. If it lasts 12 months that's only 50p a week and considering it's emotional value, that's bargainous.
Well in that case I'd better buy it... :-)
