Now what's even more random about that is the statistic the site gives me. Apparently in the US 99.66% of people with the first name of 'Mary' are female. Now, by my maths that gives 0.34% of men who are called 'Mary'. With the numbers the site gives that means there are 13452 men called 'Mary' in the US.
Doesn't that seem a little odd? (or am I just prejudiced?!)

Similarly, out of the 3,553,128 Davids in the US, 99.75% are male.
That leaves £8,882.82 females called David in the US. Either people in the US give their kids strange names or about £0.25-0.5% of Americans can't fill in a census form properly. I am leaning towards the latter...
I was surprised to discover there are 21 people in the US with my name. Considering my sirname is very uncommon, that's quite impressive!
I'm definitely more unique than you then ;)
